Minnesota Nabucco Pictorial

The Minnesota Opera opened the 2012-2013 season with a Thaddeus Strassberger Nabucco this past Saturday. This outing of the Verdi masterpiece is a co production with the Washington National Opera, where it debuted earlier this year. While the production itself was greatly acclaimed in Washington, the casting in Minnesota was equally a critical success. Mr. Jason Howard stars as Nabucco, Miss Brenda Harris is Abigaille, and Mr. John Relyea is Zaccaria. Mr. Michael Christie, made his debut as the Music Director of the Minnesota Opera on the podium.
