DALLAS Returns

Dallas the SOAP opera as opposed to the Dallas Opera will return to television this evening after a 21 year hiatus. COMMANDOpera imagines the new version will likely be as popular as the old regardless of the fact it appears on TNT as opposed to CBS (long gone are the days of the ‘big 3′ viewership only given a past decade of junk from their precincts). Is the Dallas Opera involved in some manner given the cosmopolitan nature of the series? This venue advises readers to adopt a wait and see attitude, however the Dallas Opera does boast rather glamorous head office digs.

One of the reasons for penning this article is a sheer hack job article entitled:  ‘Looming “Dallas” Disaster: How Show’s Creator Was Cut Out of Reboot’. How one arrived to that link cannot be recalled, yet it is a stunning example of the most narrow minded attack writing intended solely for sensationalism. In reality there is not much to the article itself relying on one disgruntled individual with a sizable ego, yet to this writer it stood out. At the end of the day when penning articles for public consumption, it is far too easy to fall into the venal trap of mediocrity with such gossip riven hit pieces as found above, in a slender effort to maintain the publics’ interest your work. COMMANDOpera has found it is better to not write on a topic unless sources can be verified and confirmed: twice when possible. Global readers today are far to savvy to put up with junk for long when a reputation has been built on high calibre, informative writing.
