Tristan und Isolde in Dallas

Tristan und Isolde will prima in a new production at the Dallas Opera on the evening of February 16th for a four performance run. Mr Jonathan Pell the famed Artistic Director of the Dallas Opera has engaged a suitable cast of important ability for the roles vocally as is his trademark. Mr. Clifton Forbis, who has been headlining on American stages to appreciative audiences will undertake Tristan, while Miss Jeanne-Michele Charbonnet is Isolde, and Miss Mary Phillips is Brangane. Of greater interest to COMMANDOpera, is the inclusion of the American debut of Finnish Bass Baritone whom this venue is very aware: Mr. Jukka Rasilainen as Kurvenal.  Mr. Graeme Jenkins will be on the podium for the run.
