Macbeth Opens Lyric Season!!!!
COMMANDOpera has confirmed early EARLY this morning with the highest tiers of the theatre, the Lyric Opera of Chicago season opening new production will be the violent Verdi masterpiece Macbeth. Further, COMMANDOpera has been invited to and accepted an invitation to attend the glamorous opening night; one of the most prestigious red carpet events on the globe. Crew Mantle will appear in full masqued regalia. There can be no question this venue will supply blanket coverage of the event including exclusive interviews with the stars, and a complete in depth COMMANDOpera review directly after the performance. The work will be under the baton of illustrious Italian conductor Mr. Renato Palumbo, and stars American baritone Mr. Thomas Hampson as Macbeth, German soprano Miss Nadja Michaels as Lady Macbeth, American tenor Mr. Dmitri Pittas as Macduff, and Slovakian bass Mr. Stefan Kocan as Banquo.
