COMMANDOpera has been given word from a highly placed source, the extraordinary and brilliant young tenor Mr. Michael Fabiano who makes his Metropolitan debut as Raffaele in Stiffelio this evening has signed to portray his stunning signature role of Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor in Vancouver. COMMANDOpera is working to confirm this incredible announcement with the theatre. This would mean the Vancouver company has scored a MAJOR triumph on the Canadian opera scene with this historic debut.

UPDATE: COMMANDOpera can now CONFIRM this story, having spoken with Miss Selina Rajani the Communications Director of the Vancouver opera. The Lucia wil be none other than Miss Eglise Gutierrez with all of the performances under the baton of Mr. Jonathan Darlington. The production will be directed by playwright director, Mr. Amiel Gladstone.
